The restoration of the ‘Gasthuiskapel’ (literally: Guest House Chapel) in Poperinge is in full swing. The front part at the street side has been completed in a masterly way. The red bricks in the wall next to the stained glass windows are partly restored in our brick ‘Elegance Aura’. It is phenomenal how Artes Woudenberg has managed once again to restore this old chapel wall with our bricks.
The visible masonry will be executed in non-perforated hand-molded facing brick, made from pure clay, which will be treated according to a process developed in-house that gives a view of recuperation stones to the facing bricks.
