Senior Homes built in a historic location in the historic center of Nieuwpoort. The former Clarissan convent, chapel, and old nursery school were converted into 110 fully-fledged assisted living apartments. This was done with a nod to the past, where you will discover nostalgic memories in the atmosphere of yesteryear. The Clarenhof is the perfect combination of a luxury apartment, a hotel, and an assisted living facility.
We, Olivier Bricks, are very honored to have been able to contribute to the transformation of this piece of Nieuwpoort history. This exclusive project is characterized by the perfect harmony between restoration and new construction. A combination of our facing bricks, crepi, and padauk was chosen for the building.
The residence is located 80 meters from the market and 150 meters from the fish market. The site is equipped with a modern brasserie, a fitness and wellness area, a hair salon, and other beauty facilities. There is also an underground parking garage. In addition, there is a large central outdoor garden with petanque courts, a herb garden, and bicycle parking.
There is an oasis of tranquility for our silver generation. At Clarenhof residence, the charms of Nieuwpoort are combined with comfort, luxury, and a sense of security.
After a visit to the site by our expert and representative Patrick Vanhuyse, Olivier Bricks developed a specific custom blend for this restoration. The aim was to preserve the old character of these buildings.
Our facing bricks were also chosen for the new construction section. The choice fell on a special mix based on our Dam Abbey brick. The aim was to allow the new construction to blend seamlessly with the listed buildings.
