Restoration project: Le Roeulx Castle

Once again, Olivier Bricks is writing a footnote in the history of Belgian heritage. In collaboration with the Arena Carmelo team, we are contributing our Breton expertise to the restoration of Le Roeulx Castle.

The castle of Le Roeulx is also known as the "castle of the Princes of Croy." It is located at the highest point of a small plateau between the Senne and Hene rivers in the municipality of Roeulx in the province of Hainaut. This castle has been owned by the Cröy family since 1433. In that year, Jacoba of Bavaria donated the entire estate to Antoine de Cröy, chamberlain to Philip the Good.
