The 'Kempische moef' is a red-orange tumbled facing brick. During the tumbling process, the facing bricks are given a warm, ochre-colored cement haze. Like our other facing bricks, the Kempische moef is a new brick, but thanks to our proprietary process, it achieves the look of a genuine reclaimed brick. Due to the tumbling process, packages sometimes also contain quarter, half, and three-quarter bricks.
The facing bricks are delivered as full bricks, with smaller pieces included at the top of the pallet. Ideally, they are laid in a random bond, but you can, of course, choose which bond you wish to use for the facing bricks. The Kempische moef is a handmade facing brick, so the bricks have distinctive textures.
